Beyond The Gates (Part 1)

Aug 17, 2025    Kevin Crawford (Senior Pastor)

In this powerful message, we're reminded of the imminent return of Christ and the rapture of the church. The key scripture, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, vividly describes how the dead in Christ will rise first, followed by those who are alive. This event marks the end of the church age and the beginning of a new era. As believers, we're encouraged to live with an eternal perspective, not getting too attached to worldly things. The parallel drawn between our earthly awards ceremonies and the judgment seat of Christ is particularly striking. It reminds us that every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, and every moment of forgiveness will be acknowledged and rewarded. This insight challenges us to live intentionally, making the most of our time on earth to store up treasures in heaven. Let's reflect on our priorities and ask ourselves: Are we living in a way that we'll have no regrets when we stand before Christ?
