Beyond the gates (Part 5)

As we journey through life, we're often caught up in the here and now. But today, we're invited to lift our eyes and see the glorious future that awaits us beyond the gates of this earthly existence. The Book of Revelation paints a vivid picture of what's to come - from the millennial reign of Christ to the final judgment and the creation of a new heaven and earth. This isn't just distant prophecy; it's a call to live with purpose and anticipation. We're reminded that our actions today have eternal consequences. Are we using our gifts to serve in God's kingdom? Are we prepared for the Bema seat, where our works will be judged? The promise of inheriting 'all things' as joint-heirs with Christ should inspire us to live boldly and faithfully. Let's not get distracted by temporary struggles, but keep our eyes fixed on the eternal joy that awaits us in the New Jerusalem, where God Himself will wipe away every tear.
