A Mothers Day Service 2026

May 22, 2026    Angie crawford, Bambi Biggerstaff

This powerful message centers on the transformative journey from brokenness to wholeness through sound doctrine and intimate relationship with Christ. Drawing from the wedding at Cana in John chapter 2, we're invited to see ourselves as those water pots—vessels being filled to the brim with the Word of God so that transformation can occur. Just as water became wine through Jesus' miracle, our lives undergo miraculous change when we consistently fill ourselves with Scripture. The message emphasizes that sound doctrine leads to a sound mind, which produces a sound heart, resulting in sound speech and ultimately sound wisdom. We're challenged to move beyond surface-level Christianity into deep, persistent prayer and daily time in God's Word. The concept of 'bask'—staying in alignment with Scripture and in step with the Holy Spirit—reminds us that dancing with the Lord isn't just emotional experience but practical obedience. When we respond to the Holy Spirit's nudges, whether that's forgiving someone who hurt us, praying for healing, or simply asking God for what we need, we position ourselves to receive more of His presence. This isn't about perfection but about persistence—continuing to do the next right thing while our countenance catches up with our commitment.
