Sight to the Blind
What does it mean to truly see? This message takes us on a profound journey through the theme of blindness, both physical and spiritual, and challenges us to examine the blind spots in our own lives and faith. Drawing from the story of Isaac, Jacob, and Esau in Genesis 27, we explore how deception can take root when discernment is absent, and how the enemy exploits those moments when our spiritual vision grows dim. Just as Isaac could sense something was wrong but could not quite identify it, we too are reminded that the Holy Spirit serves as our inner alarm system, prompting us when something is not right. The message calls us to sharpen our spiritual senses, stay rooted in the Word of God, and resist the deceptions of an age that grows more spiritually dangerous by the day. The stories of blind individuals like Fanny Crosby and Doc Watson remind us that physical limitation does not determine spiritual capacity, and that when one sense is diminished, others grow stronger. In the same way, when we lean fully on the Holy Spirit, our discernment deepens and our ability to navigate a deceptive world increases dramatically.
